6th Annual Oktoberfest
Celebration at Alphorn Bistro
Dear friends of German food and music.
NEW DETAILS ABOUT OUR YEARLY OKTOBERFEST
We will have dining inside the Inn with a smaller
menu and if the weather is good we will have just brats outside. There
will be plenty of German Beers both on Draft and by bottle. We recently
acquired a fantastic new beer from Bavaria called Ayinger and we are
excited to introduce this to you along with our old favorites
Warsteiner, Spaten and Franziskaner. The Brew Crew will be here to give away fun things meet them from 5 – 7 PM on Saturday.
For musical entertainment we have two fantastic days of entertainment
lined up for you in a smaller version than normal. If the weather is
good the entertainment will be outside in the beer garden if it is not
they will play inside. Our accordion player will stroll from table to
table.
Saturday
September 5, 2009 from 1:30 – 6:30 we have two of our great players from
the King Ludwig Band will entertain us with an accordion and bass plus
alphorn and bells.
Plus from 7 PM to 10 PM our favorite One Man Band Jim Hollis will play
and DJ for us with oldies music and many other fine songs.
Sunday Noon to 5 PM The Mad Bavarian Band quartet with 3 Alphorns and
they will switch between sets to Tuba - Baritone - Trombone – Clarinet.
Plus Jim Hollis will play and DJ for us this night also from 5:30 – 8:30PM
If you have any questions please feel free to call us. Chef Bob is
working out the menu details, we have not decided yet if we need you to
make reservations or not, and we are so glad we shall still see most of
you Labor Day weekend as in the past 6 years.
We still plan to do our Ms. And Mr. Oktoberfest contest on Sunday if
the crowds feel up to it.
